Our Commitments | DIYguru — Aligning EV Education with Net Zero & SDGs
Our Commitment to the Planet

Building the Green Workforce for a Net-Zero Future

Every engineer DIYguru trains, every EV technician we certify, and every OEM team we upskill directly accelerates the world's transition to zero-emission mobility. This isn't just education — it's climate infrastructure.

Our Promise
Why EV Workforce Development Is Climate Action

The world is racing toward electrification. India alone targets 30% of all new vehicles to be electric by 2030, and the EV sector is projected to create 10 million direct jobs and 50 million indirect jobs by the end of this decade. But there's a critical bottleneck: the workforce.

Companies — from startups to established OEMs — report that most graduates are not industry-ready for EV roles. Without trained engineers, technicians, and service professionals, the transition stalls. Vehicles can't be designed, batteries can't be manufactured, charging stations can't be maintained, and the promise of clean mobility remains unfulfilled.

This is where DIYguru's work becomes climate action. Every professional we train directly removes a barrier to EV adoption. Every OEM team we upskill accelerates their electrification roadmap. Every EV technician we certify enables thousands of zero-emission kilometers on Indian roads.

We don't just teach EV technology. We build the human infrastructure that makes decarbonization of transport possible — at scale, across India, and now across 7 countries.

DIYguru's Green Workforce Commitment

As India's pioneering EV education platform with 10+ years in the industry, DIYguru commits to accelerating the green energy transition through workforce development:

  • Train 500,000+ EV professionals by 2030 to meet India's green workforce demand
  • Expand hardware EV labs across 20+ cities in India and 10+ countries globally
  • Partner with every major OEM to bridge the EV skills gap in their electrification programs
  • Make quality EV education accessible and affordable — aligned with Skill India & Atmanirbhar Bharat
  • Integrate sustainability, safety (ISO 26262), and compliance into every program we deliver
  • Support government skill development initiatives including ASDC, NEAT-AICTE, and NITI Aayog's EV Mission 2030
  • Develop EV service & repair ecosystems in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to enable nationwide EV adoption
India's Climate Mission
Aligned with India's Net Zero 2070 & Panchamrit Targets

At COP26 in Glasgow (2021), Prime Minister Narendra Modi committed India to a Net Zero emissions target by 2070 through the Panchamrit (five nectar elements) action plan. India is implementing the world's largest renewable energy expansion program — achieving its Paris Agreement commitment of 40% non-fossil energy capacity nine years ahead of schedule.

The transportation sector is one of India's primary sources of carbon emissions. Without rapid electrification of vehicle fleets, transport-related emissions would skyrocket by 2050. The IEA estimates that $160 billion per year is needed across India's energy economy to reach net zero — and a critical share of that must go toward building the green workforce.

DIYguru is directly contributing to this national mission. As a partner of NITI Aayog's Electric Mobility Vision 2030, certified by ASDC (Govt. of India), and empanelled by NEAT-AICTE (Ministry of Education), every program we deliver moves India closer to its climate targets.

🇮🇳 India's Panchamrit Targets (COP26)

1

500 GW non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030

2

50% energy requirements from renewable sources by 2030

3

Reduce CO₂ emissions by 1 billion tonnes by 2030

4

Reduce carbon intensity of economy by 45% by 2030

5

Achieve Net Zero emissions by 2070
