DIYguru, a leader in e-mobility education, partnered with Daimler Truck Innovation Center India Pvt Ltd (DTICI) to provide specialized training in E-Axle systems, enhancing the skills of their engineering team. This initiative aimed to deepen their understanding and expertise in modern e-axle technologies, crucial for advancing DTICI’s capabilities in electric vehicle (EV) innovation.
Training Modules and Topics Covered
The training was structured around several comprehensive modules, each designed to address specific technical aspects of E-Axle systems. The primary focus areas included:
- Power Electronics for E-Axle Systems:
- Introduction to power electronics in EVs.
- Components such as inverters, converters, and rectifiers.
- Packaging, thermal management, and reliability considerations.
- Motor Control Techniques:
- Field-oriented control (FOC) and direct torque control (DTC) methods.
- Sensorless control techniques for speed and position estimation.
- Advanced control algorithms including model predictive control (MPC).
- Inverter Design and Control:
- Different inverter topologies used in E-Axle systems.
