For Professional Certifications (3 months), Individual Courses, Technician Training, and Workshops, you can enroll directly by paying the course fee — no entrance test needed. Working professionals with 2+ years of experience can also skip the DET for flagship programs and directly schedule a personal interview.
The DET covers fundamental physics (Newton's laws, energy, mechanics), basic engineering concepts, and EV industry awareness. It consists of 45 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 20 minutes. A free preparation guidebook with sample questions and study material is provided upon applying.
Yes, you can retake the DET after a cooling period. We recommend using the free guidebook and completing an Individual Course (like the free Battery & BMS Course or EV Fundamentals Mastercourse) to strengthen your foundations before retaking the test.
Scholarships are merit-based and determined by your combined DET score and interview performance. The top 30 candidates per batch are eligible, with scholarships ranging from 5% to 15% of the program fee. A DET score above 95% qualifies for the highest tier of up to 15%. Scholarships are applied directly to your fee invoice.
